Building Code Committee - Marshall Carman, SE, Chair

Many items are being addressed regarding the Ohio Building Code as well as SEAoO’s relationship with the Ohio Board of Building Standards. The goal of the committee is to maintain the intent of the OBC while making it easier for members of the design, plan review, and construction community to interpret and implement the requirements.  Communications Committee - Kip Ping, PE, SE, Chair

The goal of the committee is to maintain and improve the quality of SEAoO’s website and to work closely with the Board of Directors and Officers to convey information to the general public as well as the structural engineering community. Licensure Committe - Gretchen Bryc, PE Chair

The goal of the ahhoc committee is to assist the enforcement officer for the Ohio State Board of Registration identify grossly incompetent work being performed and submitted to building officials throughout the state.  Membership on the committee varies throughout the year but is comprised of a minimum three-person committee that reviews information forwarded to SEAoO by the Board of Registration.
